He has extensive exposure in core insurance areas in technical aspects of Underwriting including Risk Assessment, Rating/Pricing and Fixing of Terms and Conditions for different risks across industry sectors, Reinsurance, Setting Retention, Claims Management, Negotiation, Settlement, Recovery, Product Development, Negotiation and Finalization of insurance programs as well as legal, statutory, regulatory, licensing and compliance matters and HR issues.

While working with United India, ICICI Lombard, Wipro, Howden, RSA and Aon in leadership roles, Anup has underwritten, managed and serviced some of the largest risks in Government and Private Sector entities across Property, Business Interruption, Engineering (Construction & Erection, ALOP and DSU) Marine, Directors and Officers Liability, Technology Errors and Omissions, Cyber Crime and Liability, Employment Practices, Bankers Bond, Fidelity Insurance, Financial & Casualty Lines, Health and Employee Benefits, Special Risks, Oil and Energy, Renewable Energy – Wind, Biomass, Solar, Aviation, Entertainment and Structured Products.

He has deep domain expertise across various Bespoke, Broad form, Manuscript Insurance Programs for high value capital intensive complex industrial projects in Power- Thermal, Gas & Hydro, Infrastructure, Roads, Petrochemical & Fertilizer Projects, Pharma, Auto and Auto Ancillary, Cement, Metals & Mining, Construction companies, Commercial Real Estate, Integrated Townships, Mass Rapid Transit Systems and Ports. He has immense exposure in financial services as well as Information Technology sector risks and risk management techniques.
